He is survived by: his wife Helen Bridges; his children, Lee Ann Higginbotham (Ken), Carl Bridges and Sue Sanders; his grandchildren, Kendra Sanders, Kayla Kilgore, Justin Moody, Kristyn Kilgore, Ashlee Sanders, Rebecca Higginbotham, Keri Ratcliff, Kaylee Bridges, Katie Higginbotham and Kaden Manning; his great grandchildren, Hunter Sanders, Sophia Benson and Hayden Edwards; and his sisters, Judy Bailey and Margaret Williams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sylvan Springs Church of Christ in Thomas' memory.
