We bid farewell to James Andrew Tikiun (Anchorage, Alaska), born in Bethel, Alaska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 3, 2024 at the age of 60. James Andrew touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He is survived by: his mother Mary Crew; his wife Brenda; his children, Jocelyn, Carrie (Francis Sr.) and Mckinzey; his grandchildren, Dalen, Kaden, Jeremiah (JJ), Matthew, Andrea, Sophie, Francis Jr., Brenda and Fritz; his father Louie; his siblings, Albert, Elena, Ben (Melissha), Yvette and Raymond (Emily); his close friend Channing (Leimomi); and also Jeremiah "JJ" Tikiun. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He held several management roles at Southcentral Foundation where he was deeply respected and served his community and people. After retiring from Southcentral Foundation, he obtained his CDL and explored the vast interstates and highway systems of the Lower 48.
