He is survived by: his spouse Waynne Mayo Skipper; his children, Dean, Andrew, Faeanna and Alexia; his grandchildren, Mikayla, Casey, Annalise, Jasmine, Jade, Ellie and Thomas Tutaki; his parent Ngareta Karaitiana; his siblings, Hilda, Mere, Eruera Pahi (Ted), Te Rare (Pat), Huia, Dorothy and Korotipa (Phillip); and his sibling-in-law Gaylene Odey.
