He is survived by: his spouse Gaynor; his children-in-law, David Roulston (Timaru), Kaye Binney, Grant Binney (Christchurch), Shelley Bussell (Geraldine) and Paul Bussell (Christchurch); his grandchildren, Jarred, Kimberley, Jacob, Kirsten, Jenna and Dean; his great grandchild Zac; his sibling Jan Newman (Australia); and his sibling-in-law Bryan Thomson.
