He was predeceased by: his spouse Dorothy. He is survived by: his children-in-law, Stephen Silcox, Susanne Silcox and Paul Silcox; his grandchildren, Jesse, Callum, Ethan and Libby; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Elwood, Merv Elwood (Brightwater), Brian Greaves and Pat Greaves (Christchurch).
