He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dawn; and his children, Leia (Scott) and Ceara (Jake).

A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Our Rangiora Chapel (92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora 7400, New Zealand). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Balcairn Cemetery (303 Leithfield Road, Leithfield 7481, New Zealand).
