He was predeceased by: his parent Alf; and his siblings-in-law, John, Phillip, Tom, Dick and Rob.

He is survived by: his spouse Phillippa (Pip); his children, Samuel, Cheyenne, Lauren and Dan; his parent Betty; his siblings-in-law, Deanne Dowding, Mal Dowding, Mat, Julia, Janet, Pat, Allan, Judy and Liz; and also Kauri.
