He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelvin Doody and Jean Doody; and his siblings, Sam (Norma), Laurence (Yvonne) and Eleanor (Grant Kidd).
He is survived by: his wife Wendy; his child Nicola; his son-in-law Andy; his son Simon Horler; his grandchildren, Fergus, Nod, Robert, Catherine, Mackenzie and Courtney; and his siblings, Wayne (Judy), Jimmy (June) and Lois (Bevan Frahm).
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Rangiora Chapel (92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora 7400, New Zealand).
