She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Lowery; and her children, Graeme and David (Sian). She is survived by: her children, Margaret, Ian (Maree) and Peter (Lynne); and her grandchildren, Clare, Dean, James, Hannah, Lauren, Nathan, Sarah, Alison, Dave, Jason, Hanna, John, Alex, Roscoe, Etta, Otis, Winnie, Mabel, Reuben, Emma, Cooper, Lachie, Taine, Freya, Zoe and Blake.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Leeston Consolidated School Hall (19 Selwyn Street, Leeston 7632, New Zealand). A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the Ellesmere Public Cemetery.
