It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Shield (Invercargill, South Island), who passed away on May 24, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Shield to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leonie Bakker and Graeme Bakker; her children, Alana, Shantelle and Mitchell; and also Jan Bakker.
