He is survived by: his significant other Scarlet; his children-in-law, Bryan, Cherry (Canberra), Natalie, Craig (Canberra), Andrew Morrison (Dunedin), Sandra Russell, Colin Russell (Christchurch), Joanne Graves and Robert Graves (Arrowtown); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Courtney, Allan, Jed (Canberra), Abbey, Haidar, Lilley, Kynan (Canberra), Annie, Claudia (Christchurch), Emma, Jesse and Sarah (Arrowtown); his great grandchildren, Piper, Lola, London, Mason, Levi and Mackenzie; and his siblings-in-law, Esther, Gray, Brian Mairs, Joyce, Andy, Anderson, Sylvia, Ian, Butler, Neville, Pat, Scarlet, Betty, Chris Eason, Judith Dixon and Aidan Dixon.
