He was predeceased by: his parent Ian Muir. He is survived by: his parent Erina Muir of Kaikoura; his spouse Nicky; his children, Simon, Leanne, Timothy and Brittany; his grandchild Monty; his siblings, Anne-Marie Thorne, Andrew Thorne, Tony Muir, Suzanne Muir, Barney Muir, Debbie Muir and Graham Muir; and his siblings-in-law, Tish Ballagh, John Ballagh, Jayne Douglas, Chris Douglas, Ginny Bolderston, Mark Bolderston, Henry Richards and Gabrielle Richards. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
