He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Veronica Wood Dobbs; his parents, Claude Dobbs and Grace Dobbs; and his brother Barry (Mira). He is survived by: his children, Gerard (Helen), Chris (Creanna), Peter (Lesley), Sandra (Keith), Brendon, Kate (Adrian) and Jenny; his grandchildren, Samuel, Alex, Thomas, Autumn, James, Joseph, Elyse, Matt, Kahlia, Courtney, Sam, Lily, Max and Lucas; his great grandchildren, Ivy, Kaia, Roman and Marlowe; and his sisters, Margaret (George Lynch) and Jennifer (Tony Rogers).
