He is survived by: his wife Marie; his sons, Mark (Nikki) and Christopher (Jocelyn); his grandchildren, Kaiya, Xavier, Bella, Matthew, Eli and Ava; his siblings, Ann (Rex Flemming), Daniel, Matthew (Linda), Paul (Jo Lysaght-Mckenzie), Angela (David Dixon), Helen (Kevin Briggs), Andrew (Jane) and Veronica (Nigel Jollands); and his siblings-in-law, Betty Sunckell, Ian, Mary Sunckell, Patricia, Kevin O'Brien, Shona and John McCartin.
At Gerard's request, in lieu of flowers, donations to St Vincent de Paul would be greatly appreciated, and may be made at the service.
