Frank Alister Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Alister (Christchurch, South Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Wendy; his sons, George and Max; his siblings, Moy (Gordon), Ming (June), Jenni, Helen (Wayne), Dibble (Lyndy) and Robbie (Sue); his parents, Rex Poy and Lay Hong; his parents-in-law, Alan and Jean; and his siblings-in-law, Sally, Pete, Geoff and Mel.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Russley Golf Club and Function Centre (428 Memorial Avenue, Burnside, Christchurch 8053, New Zealand).

In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated, and may be made online at stjohn.org.nz.
