Rod McElrea Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rod McElrea (Burnside, South Island), who passed away on February 10, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rod McElrea to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid Rod farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rod is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Adrienne; his children, Andy and Jayne; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Jack, Jasmine and Cooper.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Oaklands Chapel.
