He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Sparks and Barbara Sparks; and his parents-in-law, Les and Margaret Sword. He is survived by: his wife Adele; his siblings, Bruce, Liz, Michael and Warren; and his brothers-in-law, Ronald and Jeffrey.

A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Oaklands Chapel.
