Henry Dent Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Henry Dent (Burnside, South Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Henry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Henry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Vera; his children, Jane (Simon Porter), Mark (Leonie Dent) and Anna (Rick Goulter); and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Laura, Brad, Scott, Andrei, Nicole and Amy.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Oaklands Chapel. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Avonhead Memorial Cemetery.
