Ann McKenna Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann McKenna (Burnside, South Island), who passed away on January 24, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ann McKenna to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her significant other David Shipley; her children, Derek and Kerry; and her siblings, Lynne and John.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Oaklands Chapel.
