Shirley McKarell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2025, Shirley McKarell (Paraparaumu, North Island) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Shirley shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Shirley farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Don; her children, Colin (Janine) and Jan (Owen); her grandchildren, James, Zara, Matt, Sam and Will; and her great grandchild Luca.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Summerset Care Centre.
