He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Claire; his sons, Bruce (Heleni), Richard (Tania) and Michael (Mandy); his grandchildren, Tim, Megan, Claire, James, Robert, Natalie, Henry, Robyn, Daniel, Adam and Monique; and his great grandchild Milana.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kapiti Coast Funeral Home Chapel (9 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu 5032, New Zealand).
