She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Trevor King; her daughter Linda Watson; her grandchild Taryn Baines; and her great grandchildren, Olivia and Liam Baines.

Due to Covid restrictions a private family service was held on Monday 6 September 2021, followed by interment at Kelvin Grove Cemetery, Palmerston North.
