It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Folkie Eugene Johnson (Whitehorse, Yukon Territory), born in Kinistino, Saskatchewan, who passed away on April 11, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Johnson and Matthew Johnson; and his siblings, Arnie, Hugo Johnson and Myrna Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Johnson; his children, Cheryl (Bruce Wilcox), Darrell (Nina Coupland) and Tricia (Albert Drapeau); his grandchildren, Gary Johnson [Felisha Johnson], Greg Johnson [Dina Loblaw], Liz Olynk [Jason Oliynyk], Rachel Johnson, Ryley Johnson, Brendan Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Madison Johnson and Martin Drapeau; his great grandchildren, Devin Oliynyk and Ashlin Valente; and his brothers, Manfred and Dennis Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
