Willimina Fisher Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willimina Fisher (North Battleford, Saskatchewan), born in Springhill, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 23, 2023 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Willimina Fisher to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bill; her son Roy Fisher; her father Charles Baginski; her stepfather George Bolen; her mother Annie Vassart-Baginski (Hahnen); and her siblings, Fred Baginski (Jean), Anne Baginski (Paul Borisenko) and Louisa Baginski (Roland Amos).

She is survived by: her half-sister Marie Bolen (McDonald); her sister-in-law Edie Guhl; and her brothers, Joseph Vassart, Nicolas Vassart, George Bolen (Beatrice), Joe Bolen (Juanita) and Edward Bolen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The past couple of years Velma struggled with Alzheimer's and was confined to a wheelchair but the humor still shone through.
