It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilfred Emel of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, born in Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred Joseph and Fernande Jean Emel; his sister Doris; and his brothers-in-law, Cony, Alain, Leonard and Bud.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his children, Richard (Danielle), Sean (Jenn) and Kimberly (Jamie); his grandchildren, Cole, Ashley (Josh), Cameron, Dairyck, Micah, Jordan, Rachel and Danica; his great grandchildren, Lucas and Mylah; his siblings, Albert (Jennifer) and Marie; and his friend Dorothy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
