He was predeceased by: his daughter Arleen; his sister Patricia; and his parents, Robert Patterson and Thelma Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his sons, Robert and Emile; and his friends, Kirk, Lorraine Johnston and Fred Bulmer. He is also survived by his sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
