He was predeceased by: his wife Doris; his former wife Bev; his siblings, Violet, Alice, Walter, Bev, Wade and Randy Tornberg; and his son-in-law Randy Armstrong.

He is survived by: his children, Darryl (Sandra), Gail, Penny (Tom) and Wayne; his grandchildren, Leslie, Keith (Jess), Colin, Amber, Yvonne (Tom), Trevor (Christine), Dwayne, Daniel (Carleen), Will (Peyton), Wesley and Wyatt; his extended family, Pat (Bill), Val (Miche), Nancy (Darren), Clarence (Wendy) and Chris (Cora); and his close friend Bertha.
