He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bertsch and Genevieve Bertsch; and his brother Wilfred. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his son Bradley (Anne Margrete); his grandchildren, Oliver and Jenny; his son Colin (Casey); his grandchildren, Channing, Tyson (Ashley), Tayla and Benton; and his siblings, Cyril, Dave, Melvin, Marilyn, Murray and Allan.
