He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Ryba and Mary Anastasia Ryba; his wife Sandra Dash; his close friend Neil Koop; his niece Jennifer Milne Bisson; and his siblings, Alice, Millie, Edna, Rose, Kay, Mary Agnes, Dutch and Cecil.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jeri, Janis (Rob) and Jacquie; his grandchildren, Rundle Ryba, Jessica, Jahson Simoneau, Matt, Heather Schoenroth, Kevin Jowsey, Andrew, Jessie Jowsey, Lauren and Jamie Yuen; his great grandchildren, Fred, Marie, Evie, Grayson, Kai and Lily; his friend Marge Koop of Winnipeg; his sister Eileen Coveney of Ontario; and his friends, Gord Wilson and Dr. Willem Geyer.
