He was predeceased by: his wife Marie (Vandale); his parents, Cornelius Quiring and Justina (Martins); and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Vandale (Jim) and John Vandale.

He is survived by: his children, Shayne (Pauline), Annette Cuthill (Aubrey), Tracy Quiring (Ron Taylor) and Angela Quiring; his sister Chris Harvie; his niece Patricia Vandale; and his nephew Dwayne Vandale.
