He was predeceased by: his parents, Luigi Medvescek and Olga Medvescek. He is survived by: his wife Arlene (Kachur); his sons, Cory Medveszek (Jodi), Curtis Medveszek (Terri-Ann) and Craig Medveszek (Shelly); his grandchildren, Megan, Kiara, Alyssa, Hailey, Ella and Abigail; his siblings, Tony Medvescek (Yvonne) of Ituna, Mary Springinatic (Wayne) of Regina, Nadia Larson (Keith) of Regina and Eva Heinrichs (Wade) of Brandon; his sister-in-law Denise Norlin (Ron) of Wynyard; and also Rick Forti (Pam) of Calgary. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Northern Lights Regional Health Centre Foundation in Fort McMurray so they may carry on with providing the excellent level of care they gave Victor.
