She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Goodwin and Mary Goodwin; her husband Bob Bews; and her siblings, Hazen Goodwin (Agnes) and Reta Janz (Orlando).

She is survived by: her children, Edel Chu (George) and Ron Bews (Diane); her grandchildren, Derrick (Jodie), Melissa (Mark), Jordan (Michelle), Preston (Paulina) and Cohen; her great grandchild Harrison; and her sister-in-law Lenny Bews. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
