It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Clara Materi of Battleford, Saskatchewan, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Winterhalt and Katherine Winterhalt; her husband Jack Materi; her son Darwin Materi; and her siblings, Max, John, Mike Winterhalt, Rose Lantz, Lenora Shyn Karuk and Monica Ogston.
She is survived by: her children, Michele Rokosh (Richard), Shawn Hall (Erin), Kaylin, Evan, Lauren, Mason, Kylee, Alora and Casette Borschneck; her siblings, Lawrence Winterhalt and Clementine Hoffert; and also, Jonelle Parker (Steve), Mac, Kyle Materi (Ashley), Wynn, Rooke, Savannah Murray (Cam), Beckett, Elizabeth and Gail.
