He was predeceased by: his parents, Bibiane Ayotte and Laval Ayotte; his former wife Geraldine Ann Ayotte (Kuffner); his sister Pierrette Beckman (Lloyd); his siblings-in-law, Lee Ayotte (Roland), Anne Ayotte (Gilles) and Cyril Fransoo (Madeleine); his parents-in-law, Joseph and Mary Kuffner; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Kuffner.

He is survived by: his wife Gerry; his daughter Mary Ann (Jody); his grandchildren, Gracie and Abby; his daughter Claudette (Tony); his grandchildren, Natashia (Andrew), Coleman (Allyce), Jesse (Taegan) and Anna; his siblings, Eloi (Lucy), Gilles (Pierrette), Roger (Carole), Roland (Shelley), Madeleine, Odette (Norbert) and Gertrude (Marcel); his sister-in-law Jackie (Gilbert); his nieces and nephews, Anna Marie (Bob), Tracey and Joseph (Sandra); and also, Bronson, Felix and Aubree.
