He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Blom and Ann Blom; his siblings, Mary Desender, Theodore Blom, John Blom, Tony Blom, Peter Blom, Fred Blom, Michael Blom, Louise Kreger and Liz Kristian; and his nieces, Anna Kosmas and Caroline Kosmas.

He is survived by: his wife Ines Blom (Perinotto); his daughters, Michelle Godbout (Rick) and Nerina Fetter (Chris); his granddaughters, Nicole Godbout and Vanessa Godbout; his siblings, Vincent Blom, Margo Blom, Lucia Clark (Gary) and Caroline Blom; and his brother-in-law Silvano Perinotto (Ronalda).
