She was predeceased by: her husband Clark; her children, Maureena Thunderchild and Winston Soosay; her grandchildren, Cheyanne Alexander and Conway Rain; her siblings, Caroline Awasis, Alice Carter, Georgina Alexander, Lawrence Alexander, Lawrence Thunderchild, Albert Thunderchild, John Thunderchild, Louie Alexander and Sydney Alexander; and her parents, George Alexander and Esther Thunderchild.

She is survived by: her children, George Wapass (Cheyenne), Sonia Alexander, Bill Yellowhead (Nancy), Calvin Thunderchild, Lee Soosay, Shawn Soosay (Marlys), Carol (Levi), Joanne (Stacey), Kendra (AJ), Dominic (Courteney), Calida (Rory), Brooke Dion, Shawnita Soosay and Tellie Soosay; her adoptive son Steven Ermineskin (Laureen); and her siblings, Roy Thunderchild, Sheila Yellowbird and Theresa Thunderchild (Bobby). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
