It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Oancia (Assiniboia, Saskatchewan), born in Limerick, Saskatchewan, who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted and Fannie; and his siblings, Anne Deminchuk, Lil Ruzicka, Dorothy Boghean, George and Clarence.

He is survived by: his wife Robbie; his children, Taylen (Jaime), Jayce, Shelly Bearss (Duane), Jasmine, Justine, Cassidy, Doran (Christa), Jon, Sarah, Mary, Thomas, Anna and Talia; his stepchildren, Joanne Helland, Jenna, Jason Kuan (Terri), Bailey Rittof (Anthony), Kolton Buer and James Kuan (Paige); his siblings, Ray, Marianne Wyatt, Hermoine Martel and June Krogan; his sister-in-law Marion Oancia; his aunt Helen Hysuick; and his parents-in-law, Grant (Debbie), Barry (Layne), Dan (Liz), Kathy Rasmussen (Dwaine) and Jodie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
