She was predeceased by: her husband Marlin Martinson; her granddaughter Josy Pierce; her parents, Bill Matity and Leona Matity (Assiniboia); and her siblings, Leona Straza, George Matity, Donna Drewitz, Vic Matity and Bill Matity.

She is survived by: her brothers, Lou Matity and John Matity; her children, Joy Welder (Kelly), Judith Chubb (Mylo), John Martinson, Jeanne Martinson (Malcolm Bucholtz), Jennifer Pierce (Mike) and Laurelie Martinson; and her grandchildren, Travis, Chad Welder, Dustin, Rondi (Gould), Madison, Rueben Chubb, Brian and Cogan Pierce. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
