He was predeceased by: his wife Joan (Fjeldberg); his parents, Dumitru Ciocia and Anica Ciocia; his siblings, Antone, Nick, Radu (Anne), Helen Hostuick (Costache) and Laura Bucurestean (Gregory); and his brothers-in-law, Arthur Schau, Maxwell Munro and Russell Hanson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Maria Collins, Anne Munro and Eve Sarjeant (Don); and his sister-in-law Phyllis Hanson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
