He was predeceased by: his wife Mabel Ottenbreit (Turberfield); his parents, Monica Forer and Henry Forer; his brothers, Joseph (Harold) and Richard; his siblings-in-law, Bernadette, RuthAnne, John and Dennis; his son-in-law Andrew; and his grandsons, Justin and Cai.
He is survived by: his brother Harold; his former wives, Aline Boucher and Anne Kuc; his children, Paul (Jennie), Colette (Steve), Cam (Morai), Donald Jr., Nicole, Carmelle and Carrie (Anthony); his grandchildren, Jana, Brooke, Daniel, Akaya, Miles, Braden, Joel, Jason, Tyler, Tyson, Graeme, Thomas, Sadie, Ivy and Rhys; his siblings, Remo (Louise), Mary, Ada and Rita (Conrad); his brother-in-law Lawrence; his close friend Helen Fauchon; and the mother of his children Aline. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
