He was predeceased by: his parents, George Berner and Pauline Berner; his brother Harvey Berner; his parents-in-law, Peter and Effie Harrison; and his brothers-in-law, John Harrison (Elaine Senft) and Bruce Harrison.
He is survived by: his sons, Lloyd (Dorraine), Gordon and Dale; his wife Alice Berner; his grandchildren, Jeremey, Sheldon, Curtis, Chelsey, Craig, Bobbie-Ann, Treyton, Shayla and Nolan; his siblings, Arnold Berner (Mary), Herb Berner (Gayle), Ken Berner (Sharon) and Shirley Guidos; and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Berner and Marliss Harrison. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
