He was predeceased by: his siblings, Calvin, Patrick (Flora), Harold, Josephine Heffernan and Gertrude Heffernan (John).
He is survived by: his spouse Janet Carew; his children, Shelley Nicholson (Daryle) of Kensington, P. E. I., Gregory (Penelope) of Ottawa, ON., Bruce (Abbigail) of Dartmouth, N. S and Also; his grandchildren, Cody MacIntyre of Ellerslie, Cortney Atwell, James Carew of Whistler, B. C. and Natalie Carew of Ottawa, ON.; his great grandchildren, Quinn of Ellersie, Bryer of Ellersie and Nora of Ellersie; his siblings, Madeline Heffernan (Bill), Charlotte O'Rielly (Brian) and Brendan (Rita); his siblings-in-law, Pat Carew, Marion Carew and Kevin Heffernan; and also, Berniece Puddester (Leo) of Bay Bulls, Mary Carey of Bay Bulls and Donna O'Brien of Bay Bulls. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Tom's memory to the Parkinson Association, Canadian Cancer Society or Palliative Care Unit Prince County Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
