He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Ramsay and Annie Ramsay (Barrett); and his siblings, Ethel Yeo, Bertha Oulton and Walter Ramsay.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ramsay (Barlow); his children, Rick Ramsay (Lisa) and Natalie Simmons (Charlie); his grandchildren, Joey, Julie Ramsay, Ashley Darrach (Terrance) and Ally Simmons; his great grandchild Scarlett Darrach; his sister Ruby Bannister; and his siblings-in-law, Liliane Ramsay, Muriel Miller, Eleanor Arsenault (Alvin) and Eric Oulton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Lot 16 United Church would be appreciated.
