It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Mahar (Montague, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grafton Gosbee and Annie Gosbee (Robertson); her siblings, Elizabeth Heron (Bud), Margaret Larter (Leighton), Clara Brown (Ernie), Wheaton Gosbee (Alice), Fred Gosbee (Florence) and Reuben Gosbee; and her brother-in-law Spencer Creed.

She is survived by: her husband Emile Vincent Mahar; her daughter Donna Myers (Michael); and her sister Jackie Creed.
