He was predeceased by: his parent Walter E.; his parent-in-law Jackie Thorne (Smett); his brother Brian Stavert; and his brothers-in-law, Grant MacWilliams and Ronald Mitchell.
He is survived by: his parent Mae L. Stavert (Glover); his spouse Bobbie Stavert (Mitchell); his children, Ron Stavert (Erin Jones), Jamie Webb (Corey), Kadie Lidstone (Cody) and Walter Stavert (Melaine); his grandchildren, Madyson, Zoey, Lexi, Ava and Hannah; his siblings, Gail Thompson of Norboro, Marvin (Sandy), Susan MacWilliams, Summerside, Kent (Sylvia) and Lower Freetown; and his parent-in-law Robert Thorne. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
