It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Jean (Dodie) Anderson of Freetown, Prince Edward Island, born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Anderson and Eileen Anderson (Quinn); her brother Jimmy Anderson; her nephew Stephen Anderson; and her niece Amy MacLean.
She is survived by: her daughter Danielle Peters (Rob); her stepson Aidan Peters; her grandchildren, Maddie and Ellie; her siblings, Peggy Ruge, George Anderson, Marilyn Anderson, Shirley MacLean and Betty MacKinnon; and her nieces and nephews, Bonnie Ann Anderson, Christine Anderson, Robert Anderson, Rachel Hope, Ryan MacDonald, Amber Ruge, Anson Ruge, Wally Anderson and Samantha Hughes.
Donations in memory of Dodie may be made to the PEI Humane Society or to a charity of choice.
