He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Cameron and Margaret Cameron; his siblings, Elaine Cameron, Neil Cameron and Ian Cameron; his parent-in-law Ralph Thompson; his son-in-law Paul Whalen; his brothers-in-law, Bruce MacDougall, Warren Thompson and Lawson Thompson; and also Mildred Thompson.

He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Cameron; his children, Mildred Cudmore, Vonnie Whalen, John Cameron (Serena), Wynette Whalen (John) and Jeremy Cameron (Angela); his grandchildren, Kristopher, Alyson, Tyler Cudmore, Amanda, Lea-Anne, Brandon Whalen, Zachary Cameron, Cheyenne Cameron, Jessica Whalen, Alex Whalen, Gavin, Ethan and Ryder Cameron; his great grandchildren, Addison, Brooke, Presley and Caprice; his siblings, Audrey MacDougall, Willena Stewart (Wilfred), Preston Cameron (Mary), Bill Cameron (Anne Turner), Wendell Cameron (Andre Cormier), Darlene Marshall (Gary Cudmore), Gail Langlois (Andre) and Newton Farrow (Erin); and his sisters-in-law, Brenda Cameron-Waddell (Gordon), Heather Cameron, Donna Cameron and Ruth Thompson. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
