He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Mary; and his siblings, Edie, Lorne, Verna, Rose, Alfred and Garfield.
He is survived by: his spouse Pauline (MacIntyre); his children, John (Lorna), Kent (Tammy) and Paul (Cathie); his grandchildren, Emilee, Laura and Matthew (Aislynn); his great grandchild Phoebe; his siblings, Norman (Roma), Ivan, Eileen (Isaak) and Bessie; and his siblings-in-law, Gayle and Mary (late Jack). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the QEH Foundation.
