She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Knowles and Catherine Knowles (Martinborogh); her husband Herbert Hartley; her children-in-law, Ann Darville and Allen MacDonald; and her siblings, Kevin Knowles, William Knowles and Violet Albury.
She is survived by: her children, Andre, Charlene, Laura and Russ; her grandchildren, Anson, Chantel, Andrew, Carlos, Cecile, Angel, Chantea, Andrea, Miguel and MyKayla; and her siblings, Eva, Essie, Stella, Neta, Diane and Mack. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
