He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Eileen Robison; his parents, Peter Creamer and Mary Creamer; and his parents-in-law, Donald and Mary Robison.

He is survived by: his wife Paula Dear; his children, Shawn (Laura) and Shane (Yoan); his siblings, Kathleen McRae (late John), Eric (Carol Hogan), Leo (Joanne), Eileen Rowe (David), Teresa Horne (Steve), Michael (Holly), Eva McQuaid (Alan Pugh), Lorna White (late Paul), Lynn MacLeod (Paul) and Danny (Chris); and his siblings-in-law, Ann McPhee (late Russ), John Robison (Linda Lou), Rose Judd (Alan), Rita Kennedy (Bob Doyle) and Dave Robison (Darlene Hughes). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
